3.5L Auto Transmission
TransmissionThe 3.5L V6 engine used to power the Chrysler 300C is derived from versions of this engine used in prior Chrysler Group vehicles. An all-new active three-plenum intake manifold provides high power and torque over the entire operating band, with 180 kW @ 6400 r/min and 340 N.mof torque @ 3800 r/min. This engine provides the perfect blend of performance and economy.

5.7 HEMI® V8 Engine
The available 5.7 HEMI® V8 engine includes a Multi-Displacement System (MDS), which increases fuel economy up to 20 percent, based on driving habits. MDS accomplishes this by deactivating half of the cylinders during certain driving periods. The engine operates on all eight cylinders for acceleration, city traffic and heavy loads, and four for cruising at highway speeds.

6.1 SRT HEMI® V8 Engine
The available high-performance 6.1L SRT HEMI®V8 engine in the 300C SRT8, features the largest displacement specific-output V8 engine made by Chrysler, with 431 hp and 569 Nm, and the engine block in original HEMI Orange. The SRT HEMI V8 was developed by increasing the bore of each cylinder, increasing compression ratio, redesigning the intake and exhaust system for better airflow, and increasing engine speed and endurance.
